Puget Sound School Districts Set 2019 State Legislative Positions

As superintendents of the Puget Sound region, representing nearly 40% of students across Washington state, our unwavering focus is on students.  Our legislative priorities are aimed to create opportunities for each and every student to succeed in school and in life, and to eliminate opportunity gaps based on race, income and other factors that have historically disadvantaged young people.

The Legislature has made great strides in increasing funding for education, for which we are thankful.  The state must continue to adjust the funding system to match student needs today -- particularly student wellness, safety, special education and equitable access to modern school facilities.

2019 Classified School Employee of the Year. Nominate Onlin

Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD) is now accepting nominations for the 2019 PSESD Classified School Employee of the Year. This annual award recognizes and honors the work of school and district classified staff. PSESD’s Regional Classified School Employee of the Year will serve as one of nine finalists for OSPI’s annual statewide award, which will be announced in the spring.

"AudioEye offers two essential services for adhering to WCAG 2.0 guidelines — the Ally Toolbar and the Managed Service — and after a thorough review of WCAG 2.1, will make the necessary changes to positively impact school websites. These services are ongoing website monitoring and management, as well as the AudioEye Toolbar."
