Shoreline Public Schools Now Accepting Free and Reduced Meal Applications

Shoreline Public Schools recently shared a helpful reminder that it is now accepting free and reduced meal applications.

Electronic Applications for Meal Benefits

To submit an electronic application, users will need to login to their Family Access accounts and select the "Food Services" tab to get started. They will need to go through the entire process and then select "submit." Once their application has been processed, those who apply will receive a determination letter by email.

Printable Applications for Meal Benefits

Paper applications can be submitted in the following ways -- via a scan or photo email to nutrition.services@ssd412.org, via fax to 206.393.4104, or by in-person drop-off at the school or Food Service office. They can also be sent by mail to Shoreline Food Services, 18560 1st Ave NE, Shoreline, WA, 98155. A paper copy of the benefit application will be mailed to the applicant's home at the beginning of the school year or can be printed from the links at https://www.ssd412.org/departments/food-nutrition-services/free-reduced-meal-applications.

Once their application has been processed, applicants will receive a determination letter by email.

The National School Lunch Program is a federally funded program that assists in providing nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free meals to students each school day. One application must be fully completed for each household, each school year.
