Director, Agency Technology

Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a Director, Agency Technology is done to provide strategic and tactical leadership in the planning, development, and implementation of long-term and short-term technology initiatives. Other responsibilities include providing leadership to the Agency Technology Department, ensuring that internal technology services are aligned with Puget Sound ESD’s strategic objectives and managed in accordance with state statute and industry best practices.

This job reports to Executive Director, Business & Operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in job-related area
    • Sub-qualification: AA with progressively responsible job-related experience may substitute for BA

  • 5 years management experience in Information Technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in large scale change management initiatives
  • Experience managing Active Directory/Azure domain architecture
  • Experience with industry standard security controls and policies
  • Experience managing SharePoint/Teams Environment
  • Project management experience
  • Network certifications from network system and software providers such as Microsoft and Cisco
  • School district or public sector experience

Hiring Salary Range: $131,760 - $172,881 (Salary Band U)
Full Salary Range: $131,760 - $190,828 (Salary Band U)
