Assistant Fiscal Officer (School Fiscal Data Analyst)

Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks an Assistant Fiscal Officer to provide support and technical assistance to the school districts and the public in the Puget Sound Educational Service District region to ensure state reporting data is accurately recorded within timelines that are followed according to Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction regulations, to disseminate information regarding state reporting regulations and technical information to the public regarding changing school district boundaries.

Minimum Qualifications

  • AA/AAS/Vocational Degree in a job-related field, or a High School diploma/GED and progressively responsible job-related work experience
  • Work-related accounting, budget, and/or finance experience
  • Spreadsheet and database management experience, including data entry, manipulation, analysis and/or report creation
  • Demonstrates an understanding and commitment to using a racial equity lens
  • Experience working with diverse groups toward common goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Washington Association of School Business Officials (WASBO) Certification
  • Experience with WSIPC, OSPI
  • Ability to work as an active team member and independently
  • High level of communication, organization, attention to detail, delegation, collaboration, and customer service skills
