Washington Schools Risk Management Pool (WSRMP) is a cooperative self-insurance program for over 90 school districts and Educational Service Districts in Washington State. WSRMP is affiliated with Puget Sound ESD (PSESD) which provides Human Resources services to WSRMP. We are seeking a Sr. Risk Consultant to develop, implement, and present liability and loss control programs to member School Districts. Duties will include developing training content with appropriate resources and delivering training to members via variety of methods tailored to the audience. Provide risk management recommendations to members, inspect facilities, contract review, and provide other risk management resources and assistance to reduce frequency and/or severity of losses. Researches federal and state laws, building codes, governmental regulations, industry best practices and standards for the purpose of ensuring compliance with regulations and established standards. Works collaboratively with risk services team to provide exceptional service to member districts.

- Associate’s Degree in related area (substantial loss control experience or certification in safety or loss control [ie ALCM or CSP] may substitute for AA degree);
- Experience in insurance, risk management, and/or education- or insurance-related legal field.
- Public entity and/or school district property/liability loss control or risk management experience;
- Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation;
- Experience providing training/technical assistance to groups;
- Experience with grant writing.
