PreKindergarten-3rd Grade Professional Learning Consultant

Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a PreK-3rd Grade Professional Learning Consultant to join the Learning, Teaching, and Family Support Early Learning team. In this role, the PreK-3rd Grade Professional Learning Consultant will design and facilitate PreK-3 related professional development and support initiatives that champion high-quality PreK-3rd teaching and learning. This role includes analyzing regional-level data and working collaboratively with internal and external partners. The PreK-3rd Professional Learning Consultant works inside a statewide network to build and sustain strong PreK-3rd grade systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
    • Associate’s degree with increasing levels of job-related experience may substitute for Bachelor’s degree
  • Professional experience in public PreK-3 educational system, including experience with facilitating professional learning for adults 
  • Demonstrates a commitment to leading with racial equity and understanding of antiracism  

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with PreK-3 instruction
  • Experience with WaKIDS and Full-day Kindergarten 
  • Experience with using MyTeachingStrategies® 
  • Experience with synchronous (virtual and in person) and asynchronous professional learning 
  • Experience with designing accessible and equitable professional learning
