Claims Coordinator - Workers' Compensation Trust and Unemployment Pool

Puget Sound Educational Service District seeks a Claims Coordinator for Workers’ Compensation Trust and Unemployment Pool (WCT/UP) to evaluate, process, and manage workers’ compensation claims within the guidelines of industrial insurance laws and state regulations, documenting activities, and conveying information regarding claims and benefits.

WCT/UP is a self-insured pool for workers’ compensation coverage. The Trust provides insurance for on-the-job injuries for 34 school districts and PSESD and their 45,000 employees in King, Pierce, Skagit, Snohomish, and Whatcom counties. To learn more about WCT/UP, visit https://www.pswctup.org.

Minimum Qualifications

  • AA degree in job related field
    • High School Diploma/GED/Equivalency and progressively responsible work-related experience may substitute for AA degree.
  • Professional experience with insurance, legal, or workers’ compensation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Washington Workers’ Compensation Professional (WWCP) designation or equivalent
