Puget Sound Workers’ Compensation Trust and Unemployment Pool (PSWCT/UP) is seeking a Client Relations Director to provide leadership, strategic direction, and oversight for optimizing relationships with school district customers relative to unemployment and workers’ compensation risk management activities. The position cultivates and supports effective, compliant, productive, and strategic business relationships by ensuring school district customers have the information, tools, and incentives to mitigate workers’ and unemployment compensation risk, effectively. The Client Relations Director is accountable for all outward-facing member communications, promotes knowledge, visibility and value of programs and services among members, aligns school district member needs with programs and services, and serves as a member of the PSWCT/UP Leadership Team.
PSWCT/UP, under the administrative oversight of Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD), is a public entity risk pool providing coverage for and management of on-the-job injuries and unemployment claims for 34 school districts, PSESD, and their 45,000 employees in 6 counties within the State of Washington.
PSESD is one of nine regional educational agencies serving school districts and state approved charter and private schools in Washington. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Risk Management, or related field
(AA degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Risk Management, or related field and progressively responsible work-related experience or a high school diploma/GED or equivalent and progressively responsible work-related experience may substitute for Bachelor’s degree).
Successful experience selling, marketing, promoting, and/or advancing risk management and/or loss control services within a customer base.
- Experience within a workers’ compensation environment administering loss control and risk management programs;
- Supervisory experience;
- Certified Safety Profession (CSP) or similar and/or Associate of Risk Management (ARM) or similar.
