2015 Regional High School Art Show Winners

This year’s reception welcomed hundreds of student artists and their parents, families, and friends from across King and Pierce counties Wednesday, March 18. With more than 160 pieces of art on display, this was the largest event in PSESD history. Ten regional winners were selected and honored for their work and will compete in the state art show in May.

Puget Sound Educational Service District’s (PSESD) Annual High School Art Show is open to students enrolled in grades 9-12 in any public or state-approved private school in the PSESD region. Students from the PSESD service region entered their artwork in this year’s event, with several pieces, shown below, chosen to compete at the state level.

Artwork is judged on creativity, composition, and technique. Browse pictures from the event on the PSESD Facebook Page.

The Washington State 2015 High School Art Show, co-hosted by OSPI and Washington Art Education Association (WAEA), is an artistic celebration each year for the regional finalists from the state’s nine educational service districts (ESDs). Visit the OSPI website for more information about the state art show.
