Diverse Educator Pathways

PSESD is committed to a workforce that represents the diverse community we serve. We believe every child deserves at least one Black teacher by 3^rd grade.  To achieve these goals, we must work together to transform the systems that prepare, identify and retain our Black and Indigenous and Educators of Color.

Dropout Prevention & Re-Engagement

Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD) Dropout Prevention & Re-Engagement provides skill development and case management to youth at risk for dropping out, involved in Becca bill, and/or in the Juvenile Justice System.

Early Head Start Home-Based

We are a home visiting program that serves pregnant women and families with children from birth to three years old in Pierce County. Our goal is to partner with you in supporting the healthy growth and development of your child and family.

Early Learning

We're part of Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD), an umbrella agency working in partnership with Early Learning sub-contractors in King and Pierce counties. School Readiness is at the heart of our program and our goal is to make certain all children enrolled are ready to succeed in school.

Educare School of Greater Seattle is part of a growing national network working to advance quality in early learning.

Heritage Head Start

For over 25 years, Heritage Head Start has provided safe, relevant and quality Early Learning programs to children and families in the West Seattle area of White Center. 

Heritage Head Start incorporates the rich cultures and ethnicities represented, embracing each child’s ethnic and cultural heritage, while exploring their families foundation and teaching to all students in a culturally responsive way.

Learning Communities Foundation

The Learning Communities Foundation was established in 2010 to support the work of the Puget Sound Education Service District by enhancing the quality of programs and services provided through Educare. Our Foundation serves children, youth and families in the Greater Seattle area.

PSCCN (College Career Readiness)

Puget Sound College and Career Network removes barriers so that students of color, first generation, and students impacted by poverty in the Puget Sound region have the opportunity and support to access and obtain postsecondary credentials.

Puget Sound Online Learning Co-Op

Puget Sound Online Learning Cooperative is a K-12 program that allows districts to provide students the opportunity to engage in anytime/anywhere academic learning through a platform called Imagine Learning (formerly Edgenuity)

Puget Sound Workers' Compensation Trust & Unemployment Pool (PSWCT)

The Puget Sound Workers’ Compensation Trust and Unemployment Pool is a self-insured pool for workers’ compensation coverage and unemployment compensation.

ReLife School

We are a Regional Center of Excellence, serving students with significant behavioral challenges through evidence-based instruction and Whole Child practices for lifelong success.

Safety Co-Op

The safety of students is a primary concern for educators, parents, and the community. The current global and regional climate requires heightened school preparedness efforts in response to a myriad of threats and hazards. The PSESD Safety Co-op strengthens safety services in school communities across the region through high quality training, networking, and coordination opportunities that are culturally responsive and trauma informed.

The PSESD Strategy, Evaluation & Learning team partners with clients to generate actionable information that helps them do their most important work better.

Washington Learning Source (WLS)

The Washington Learning Source carries a wide variety of discounted products that fulfill educational needs ranging from antivirus software to online writing evaluation tools. Schools save money by purchasing from the WLS–$10.5 million since 2006.
