District Executives

The superintendents of the 35 school districts and two tribal compact schools in King and Pierce counties and Bainbridge Island are united as SAVE - Superintendents Advocating and Valuing Education. The Puget Sound Educational Service District serves as the convener of SAVE. PSESD also convenes the district executives for communications, human resources, and business and operations.

Dropout Prevention & Re-Engagement

Puget Sound Educational Service District (PSESD) Dropout Prevention & Re-Engagement provides skill development and case management to youth at risk for dropping out, involved in Becca bill, and/or in the Juvenile Justice System.

Heritage Head Start

For over 25 years, Heritage Head Start has provided safe, relevant and quality Early Learning programs to children and families in the West Seattle area of White Center. 

Heritage Head Start incorporates the rich cultures and ethnicities represented, embracing each child’s ethnic and cultural heritage, while exploring their families foundation and teaching to all students in a culturally responsive way.
