2006-2007 Regional Training
Paraeducator Competency workshops will be scheduled throughout the PSESD
region. Classes will be advertised through the ParaGram, the PSESD One
to One and www.psesd.org.
In-District Training Teams
The Paraeducator Program will continue to support two, six-hour competency
classes provided by in-district training teams. To receive support for
these classes, please complete an in-district scheduling form prior
to the class. Two forms are available; 1-6
or 7-11.
Paraeducator Handbooks and Portfolios
The paraeducator handbook and portfolio are free to PSESD districts/classroom
paraeducators. To order the 27 page handbook and/or portfolio, please

the order form.
Customized Training
Support is available for district/building training where instructional
paraeducators
and the teachers with whom they work are attending training that supports
the goals of their School Improvement Plan.
