Nominate the 2013 PSESD Classified School Employee of the Year

Puget Sound ESD is now accepting nominations for the 2013 PSESD Classified School Employee of the Year. This annual award recognizes and honors the work of school and district classified staff. PSESD’s Regional Classified School Employee of the Year will serve as one of nine finalists for OSPI's annual statewide award, which will be announced in the spring.

Nominees will be evaluated based on their professional biography, outstanding work performance, professional leadership and collaboration, and any other unique qualities or circumstances.

Applicants will need to complete the following:

  • Official online application, provided by OSPI
  • Short essay questions (highlighting the applicant's professional biography outstanding work performance, and professional leadership and collaboration)
  • Resume 
  • Three letters of recommendation--from an immediate supervisor, colleague/peer, and student/parent (three total letters).

Nominations close January 11th. Incomplete applications will have until January 25th to be completed.

Selection Criteria

  • Professional biography
  • Outstanding work performance
  • Professional leadership and collaboration
  • Other unique qualities or circumstances

The regional winner will become a nominee in the state program. The state recipients will be honored at an awards ceremony and invited to attend the Governor’s reception for exceptional educators.
