Behavior/Emotional Disability Services –
The Relife School
Our Relife School offers a coordinated multi-service program for
students, grades 5 - 12, with severe emotional and behavioral
characteristics, referred by school districts. The school is located in
Pierce county and available to students in King and Pierce county

Support for early childhood/special education programs for infants,

categorical programs, and individual schools in local school districts.

Sensory Disability Services
Washington Sensory Disabilities Services
provides information, training, technical assistance and resources to
families and educators statewide regarding individuals from birth to
age 21 with sensory disabilities – students who are deaf, hard of
hearing, blind, visually impaired or deaf-blind. In addition, the Washington State Shared Reading Video Outreach Project
provides reading enhancement to deaf children, their family members,
and teachers by using videoconferencing systems located in school
districts and other Educational Services Districts around the state. Learn more...
Staff Development/Training
Staff development and training is key to providing effective special
services to students with disabilities and those struggling to learn.
We offer staff development opportunities including workshops and

Support Networks/Meetings
Creating strong communities of professionals who will support and
