This program includes collaborative projects that improve student learning and bring schools closer to the community and families they serve.

Readiness To Learn is a thirteen year-old collaborative program involving all Pierce County school districts.

21st Century Community Learning Center programs serve the Auburn, Franklin Pierce, Peninsula, Sumner and Tacoma School District students and families.

Native American Education Program provides academic assistance, advising, advocacy, and resource referral for Native American students and their families.

Native American Early Learning Project is an innovative demonstration grant program that provides educational support services for three and four-year-old American Indian/Alaska Native children, their families, and schools.

Regional Family Involvement Action Team
A quarterly regional action team provides an opportunity for district involvement directors to network and learn from each other.

Reinvesting in Youth
A county-wide multi-organization effort to find and implement best practices to reduce the youth school drop-out rate.

 

School, Family, Community Partnerships also includes fee for service consultation, assistance and training opportunities to help schools become more family and community friendly.
