What to Expect Following a Loss or Claim – WSRMP
As we strive to improve graduation rates and reduce dropout rates in schools, we must be purposeful in the development of safe school environments. According to the 2014 Healthy Youth Survey, between 10% -14% of our 6th, 8th,10th and 12th graders residing in the PSESD region report feeling unsafe at school. This along with the current global and regional climates require heightened school preparedness effort sin response to natural, man-cause, biological & technical threats and hazards. The PSESD is proud to offer an array of resources and professional development opportunities to support culturally relevant safety plans and practices for public and private schools in our region.
PSESD Safety Co-Op helps strengthen safety services for more than 20 school districts across the region. Our members have access to resources such as networking meetings, professional development offerings, threat assessment training, our online community forum, and our annual Safety Institute. To join PSESD Safety Co-Op, please contact Jill Patnode.
