Customized Professional Development
We provide schools and districts with the skills needed to achieve their school improvement goals. Services include analysis of student and school data, creation of school improvement plans, training and follow-up support.
Special Education Services
We provide a broad range of educational services related to serving students with special needs: staff development and training, program reviews, school improvement services, technical assistance and more.
Math & Science Specialists
Let our math and science specialists support your district with on-site assistance. Our specialists can work in your district to assist with your math or science curriculum and instruction.

We provide cost-effective, around-the-clock online access to high quality training, information and services for paraeducators and the teachers with whom they work. Program Evaluation
Tailored to the unique needs of your district, our services help you understand the processes and impacts of your programs, while meeting evaluation and reporting requirements and identifying strategies for improvement. We can assist in evaluations of large-scale projects with extended time frames as well as small projects of limited scope. We provide you with sound formative and summative data to show the effectiveness of your programs and help you plan for the future.
Interpreter & Equity Center
Our services support your equity efforts through the creation of an effective, low-cost in-house interpreter program and customized cultural competency training. There are three main components: interpreter program development, cultural competency professional development, and student leadership.

Elementary Summer Science Institute: Finally Understanding Energy and Matter July 27-31, 2009
This five day summer institute is designed specifically for K-5 teachers with a non-science background. Increase your understanding of energy and matter concepts, inquiry, systems, and the nature of science. Participants will be immersed in a variety of learning and assessment experiences where preconceptions are uncovered, ideas are discussed using evidence, and scientific concepts are made relevant.
While the focus of this institute is on content, the instruction delivered will model effective and engaging strategies in science teaching, learning, and assessment. Participants will reflect on their own learning of science, how children learn science, and the implications in their classroom.

- The Nature of Science
- Revised Washington State Science Standards
