June 30th is Approaching..
Is Your Certificate Valid for 2009-10?

If you are completing coursework for your certificate and transcripts will not be available to you until after June 30, 2009, please note: Ask the college/university to prepare a letter of verification for any course that will not be shown on your transcript by June 30, 2009. The letter must:

• Be on university/college letterhead
• Be signed by the registrar /official at the college
• Reflect course number, course title, grade and number of credits earned
• Must include a statement that the requirements for the course have been satisfactory completed.

ESD's can issue a temporary permit based on such a letter, if all other documents are complete.

IMPORTANT:  If you do not meet the requirements and/or do not submit your application to an ESD postmarked on or before June 30, 2009, you may no longer be eligible for the certificate for which you are applying . To avoid additional requirements, please submit your application prior to the expiration date printed on your certificate.
